As an employer, you’ll need to provide your nanny with a written statement of employment particulars within 8 weeks of the start date – setting out the main terms of employment such as start date, pay, hours, leave, duties and responsibilities. Optionally, a statement of employment particulars can be incorporated into a written contract of employment and expressly agreed.
